Constana's Backstory and rules:

Constana Vaerlan is a Breton woman, born into a noble but secretive family in High Rock. Her family was known for its loyalty to the Empire and its long-standing tradition of serving in political and military roles. However, their close ties to the Empire made them enemies of the Thalmor, who eventually orchestrated their assassination during the political chaos following the Great War.

Constana herself was killed during the attack alongside her mother. Yet, through a mysterious and dark ritual, she was revived by vampires, though she rejected their ways and refused to become one of them fully. Awakening with a new chance at life but no home, no family, and no purpose, Constana dedicated herself to mastering the deadly arts of stealth, blade, and assassination — hunting enemies in the shadows.

She eventually made her way to Skyrim, where she chose a life of a pure assassin:

No magic
No enchantments
No alchemy
No smithing improvements
No shouts, as she never pursued the path of the Dragonborn
Pure blade skill and stealth — no cheap tricks, only honed physical prowess
Survival Mode was active after she cured her vampirism, making every journey dangerous and slow
Legendary difficulty for an extra edge
Hammet's Dungeon Pack and other expansions added new challenges along her journey

Recently, Constana moved from Proudspire Manor in Solitude to her newly finished Windstad Manor in Hjaalmarch. She dismissed her steward Adelaisa Vendicci (who returned to Windhelm) and hired Jordis the Sword-Maiden instead to assist in managing the large estate.

Although Constana intended to settle down for a while, her restless spirit has already pulled her back toward adventure — perhaps not as an assassin anymore, but as a lone traveler uncovering forgotten places.
